Event Details

Have a drink and help plant more trees. June marks the end of planting season, and they’ve had a really good one. They’ve planted over 400 trees, so come and celebrate this achievement.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Sierra Club Tree Team to plant even more trees in Oakland next season – free-of-charge for residents.

At 6 pm, the team will give a brief reflection on this past season and share our ambitions for the next coming one.

Founded in 2010, the Sierra Club Tree Team works to increase the City of Oakland’s tree canopy so that every Oakland resident, worker, and visitor can enjoy the environmental, community, and aesthetic benefits of trees.

The goal is to plant 1,500 trees in the Oakland flatlands over the next 3 years and they need your help, volunteer here.
