The New Parkway | 474 24th Street, Oakland, CA

The New Parkway Theater in Oakland will be having a special screening of award-winning films discussing Gentrification and Police Brutality on Sunday August 16th, 2015. A film about the Alex Nieto Murder Case in San Francisco titled “Amor for Alex” will be opening for “23rd & Union” (an award-winning film about Gentrification, East Africans and Gay Couples) and kickstarting the conversation about gentrification, police profiling and communities of color.
