2019 Architecture & the City Festival | SF
The 16th annual month-long celebration features behind the scenes and walking tours, films, exhibitions, lectures and more that address varying aspects of the design and planning process.
This years festival theme, “We the City”, aims to explore how cultural diversity and connectivity inspire and inform the built environment. From the Dogpatch to the Outer Sunset — San Francisco is a unique, diverse, and multi-generational mosaic.
Join at the Herman Miller Showroom for a one-of-a-kind marketplace event benefiting Creativity Explored, San Francisco’s inspiring art center for adults with developmental disabilities. Since 2017, this annual partnership event pairs design classics with the bold contemporary work of CE artists, celebrating the nexus of design and visual arts in San Francisco.
This year reimagine the shifting urban environment together, uniting the vision for an inclusive and creative home. The free event will include art-making with CE artists, live music, cocktails and a chance for the public to purchase designer items adorned with CE artwork, plus a ton of affordable original art.
