Event Details

Bridge ArtSpace Gallery will host a satellite exhibit of the group show Art of the African Diaspora. The main exhibit is at the Richmond Art Center. Bridge will display and host the work of artists Elishes Cavness, Lottye Clayton, Carla Golder, Steve Hurst, Jennifer Lockette, Elmarise Owens, Patricia Perry, and Marva Reed.

Exhibition: January 15 – March 15, 2020
Reception: Saturday, February 1st, 4-7 pm
Open Studios: Saturday, February 29th and Saturday, March 7th, 12-3 pm

Art of the African Diaspora was formerly known as The Art of Living Black. The Steering Committee of artists that produces the event announced the name change as a reflection of the new energy behind the event, which was founded in 1997 by the late Jan Hart-Schuyers and the late Rae Louise Hayward.
