Art Brew, Bike Clinic & Free Beer with PapergirlSF | Sports Basement

Join Papergirl SF and Sports Basement for an afternoon of craftiness and bike know-how. All are welcome to join and are encouraged to bring friends and bikes.

This is your chance to fix up and deck out your two wheels before our Roll & Ride art distribution ride on November 11th.

Free happenings include:

• Attend a free hour-long bicycle maintenance workshop starting at 3:30pm. Get the skinny on proper bike maintenance and safe urban riding while cleaning and tuning up your ride with a hands-on bike mechanic. Rags, degreaser, etc. will be provided.
• Take advantage of a 10% store wide discount for all who attend. You can finally get that broken bike light replaced, that extra inner tube, or a coveted park tool.
• Enjoy free beer and food while mingling with other urban riders and artists
• Have a custom bike flag hand sewn on the spot for free, courtesy of Rickshaw Bagworks
• Grab some free PG spoke cards courtesy of Mission Bicycle Company
• Take home a free letterpress poster designed by artist Michael Wertz and printed at the SF Center for the Book
• Get a sneak peek of the submitted artwork to be distributed in our pop-up mini show.
• And finally, get crafty with a spread of art materials courtesy of Arch Drafting Supply. Deck out your bike, get your draw on, and express your creativity with the Papergirl SF team.

Also, the call for submissions is open until Oct 20th and Sports Basement is a local drop off, so bring some artwork for PG with you
