Art Flux 1 Kick Off: Happy Hour Drinks & Docent Tour of ‘Serenity’ | SF

McKinley Art Solutions and UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health are pleased to present ‘SERENITY:Halcyon Days: A Peaceful Time In One’s Life’, featuring Natasha Dikareva, Marius Starkey, Heather Hanan, Audrey Heller, and Pauline Crowther Scott.

The artists participating in this exhibit capture the beauty of nature, in the forms of flora, fauna and human, in works that evoke thoughts of wonder and tranquility.

Special co-hosts for the opening event, Wednesday, February 12, 6:30 pm, the visual arts non-profit ArtSpan will kick off its ‘Art Flux’ event series, described as “…artsy evenings for the art intrigued.

Grab happy-hour drinks and enjoy a guided art experience with like-minded folks curious about the “art world.” Art Flux is a space for art newbies, the art intimidated, and art puzzled to connect with San Francisco’s creative culture in a laid back setting. The event features a Docent Tour of the exhibition starting at 6:30 pm on Floor 3.

Now in its 13th year, the ‘Serenity’ series has provided opportunities for over 150 local artists working in mediums from paint to print to photography, drawing, found objects and wire.
