Art Matters: Free Spring Open Studios 2026 at 1890 Bryant (April 10-12)

Join this historic arts community as the doors open this Spring and celebrate human art in all its forms. Studios throughout the building feature art alongside the artists who create it, individuals who teach, mentor, nurture, and thrive on the exchange of new ideas.

Art and independent artists have never been more important or more challenged, yet the artists at 1890 Bryant continue to stand as examples of San Francisco’s resilience and constant reinvention. Three floors of the building host more than 100 artists, including seasoned creators whose work has been awarded and exhibited around the world, alongside emerging newcomers.

A wide range of disciplines is represented, including painting, drawing, ceramics, fiber, fabric design, jewelry, letterpress printing, bookbinding, photography, sculpture, and much more.
