Event Details

Join the reception for Blocks, a joint show of landscapes and geometric abstractions of San Francisco.

The perfect mixture of fog and golden sunshine gives the light in the San Francisco Bay Area that special glow. This June, Hang Art Gallery features two artists who take inspiration from their neighborhoods: the landscapes of Catherine Palmer and the geometric abstractions of Jeanne Lydon.

The effect is a study in the inherent allure of the Bay. Block by block, each artist reinterprets her surroundings into glimpses of the place we call home.
