The steady state of persistent, and almost commonplace sexual violence perpetrated against people in this country is intolerable. The shame, isolation, and fear that often accompanies being a survivor of sexual violence should be similarly intolerable. In the spirit of the metoo campaign, we stand as a community in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault, harassment, and violence. It is for these reasons that we are holding the first annual “Art of Survival” art auction to benefit survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

The Art of Survival auction will feature many artists from around the Bay Area and beyond who are donating their time and amazing art to benefit the efforts of the La Casa de las Madres organization.
