Event Details

Join us for an artist talk in conjunction with Haoyun Erin Zhao’s solo show Cloud Inscriptions on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.

Take a behind the scenes look at Erin’s artistic journey and process! We will also be screening her short film, “To Be A Child: Exploring Creative Wonder and Embarking on A Sensory Journey Through Art.” We hope to see you there.

The works in Cloud Inscriptions evoke a sense of movement and impermanence, exploring the ethereal, transient nature of existence. They capture moments, thoughts, and energies that are fleeting yet profound. The act of inscribing into the sky—leaving marks on something as temporary and intangible as clouds—suggests that meaning is not found in permanence, but in the fluidity of the present moment.

When: Saturday, June 14th from 5 PM – 6:30 PM

Location: Cura Contemporary in the Edes Building | 17395 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill CA, 95037

Tickets: Free, but please register on Eventbrite here!
