Tanya Herrera presents Artspans Fall open studios: A month full of Pyrography and Heat Art Exhibitions alongside many more local artists

Speak to the artist individually in her art studio about what she has been working on or about any future ideas and projects. This is the only time of year to be able to come to see the entire inventory of art available by Tanya Herrera and get the best deals on overlooked pieces. This is the first time open studios will be open to the public in TWO seasons so take advantage of the freedom to enjoy art again!
Tanya will be accompanied by two other artists in this location and at these dates and times, sharing a space with Vince Koloski. Tanya will also have many other events for more chances to see her Pyrography and Heat art during the Fall Open Studios season. See the full list of Events below:

Tanya Herrera began her fascination with art as a young child growing up in the Bay Area she was heavily influenced by arts and crafts at home and the museums, theaters and symphonies in San Francisco. Herrera experimented with traditional mediums from middle school into college, always asking “what else is there?”. Herrera’s work as pyrographer and heat artist began in 2009 by trying to make an impression of a stencil on wood. Now after exploring many forms of pyrography and heat art over the course of nearly 14 years, mediums include burning on wood, leather and bone as well as heat molded vinyl records and gilding.
