A docent from the Asian Art Museum’s Community Speaker Program, will deliver an educational and entertaining multimedia talk about the hidden meanings of flowers in Asian art.

The talk will delve into the symbolism of six significant blooms: the lotus, plum blossom, cherry blossom, chrysanthemum, tulip, and rose. The enduring importance of these flowers will be described and illustrated through various forms of art allowing attendees to visualize the significance of flowers in Asian culture.
