Tonight’s performance at the Asian Art Museum highlights the improvised collaboration between acclaimed experimental cellist Okkyung Lee and artist Haroon Mirza. Combining video material, electrical signals and the cello, Lee and Mirza will draw from their repertoire while continuing to build on their longstanding collaborative relationship.

The Asian Art Museum is open late on Thursdays and admission is just $10 after 5pm. Admission to the special exhibition “Kimono Refashioned” with over 35 garments from the Kyoto Costume Institute available for a $10 add on.
