Event Details

Summer in San Francisco, when it’s colder than the surface of Mars and all the academics are difficult to pin down due to their extended vacations. Despite this, enough of them have spontaneously scattered to the same location for another round of Astronomy on Tap.

Come to DNA Lounge on Tuesday, July 31st for another night of talks from local scientists, Astronomy in the News, trivia and prizes. They’ll be hearing from Kelly Stifter on the LZ Dark Matter detection experiment, Brian Castro from the Planetary Society, and Daniel Angerhausen from the NASA Astrobiology Institute. They will also feature prizes from the friends at Universe Sandbox.

Doors open at 7 pm, and the event starts at 7:30 pm. For updates, please follow the Twitter and the event on Facebook. Also check out the page on the Astronomy on Tap website for more.  Remember, space is always better with beer.
