Is San Francisco ready for an astrophysics collaboration event the likes of which haven’t been seen in billions of years?

Astronomy on Tap San Francisco and Taste of Science San Francisco are combining forces for our biggest event yet. Please note this event is $5, not free as was originally posted.

“Astronomy on Tap”: Astrophysics Talks, Beer & Prizes 
Tuesday, April 24, 2018 | 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm
DNA Lounge, 375 11th St, San Francisco
Tickets: $5, Doors open at 7:00 pm

Come to DNA Lounge on Tuesday, April 24th for another night of talks from local scientists, Astronomy in the News, trivia and prizes.

You will be hearing from Sanjoy Som about his astrobiology research, and Megan Shabram on the Kepler mission. You will also be hearing from UC Berkeley’s own Alex Fillippenko.

Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the event starts at 7:30pm. Due to the anticipated scale of this new event, tickets will be sold in advance on DNA Lounge’s website for $5.

Tickets will also be available for $5 on the night of the event. Remember, space is always better with beer.
