About Chriselda Chew: Chriselda was an avid runner and ran over 70 races including LA Marathon twice until she discovered yoga and her passion for teaching. She earned her 200 RYT Certification from The Shadow and Light Academy in Yin Astrology from Los Angeles and her 200 RYT Certification from Seva Ashtanga School. She currently bounces between her home in LA where she teaches in Venice Beach and San Francisco where she teaches in SOMA & Rincon Hill. She is a huge dog lover and coordinates puppy pageants in San Francisco every weekend! Her own puppy is named Sukha, which means happiness in Sanskrit.

When she is not teaching yoga or coordinating puppy pageants, Chriselda works as the Chief Brand Development & Revenue Officer for a restaurant group in San Francisco specializing in events and serving nourishing food to feed our physical bodies. She has plans to open a wellness center and yoga school catered to kids, the elderly, women, and women of color. Her intention is to open communal spaces with yoga, magic, meditation, and exchange which feeds our souls. Historically, yoga was only taught to affluent men. Her goal is to uplift and empower those communities in the practice of yoga to spread love and kindness to all.
