Melbourne-natives The Paper Kites are an indie folk/rock band consisting of Sam Bentley (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Christina Lacy (vocals, guitars, keyboards), David Powys (vocals, guitar, banjo, lap steel), Josh Bentley (drums, percussion), and Sam Pasmussen (bass, synth). With their warm, harmonic blend and acoustic-oriented indie folk-pop sound, their first EP, 2011’s Woodland, began to pick up steam.

By early 2012 the Paper Kites were headlining across Australia and had landed a couple of key television song placements. On the Train Ride Home & On the Corner Where You follow up their 2015 album twelvefour.With over 300 million overall streams and nearly 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the band continues to amass new fans wherever they go.
