Avenidas Generations Lab proudly continues to offer periodic Tech Talks.

The June 14 event will feature an exclusive interview with John Markoff, technology reporter for The New York Times, by Institute for the Future Distinguished Fellow Richard Adler. Adler will interview Markoff about his career and his technology observations and beliefs.

John Markoff began writing about technology in 1976 and joined The New York Times in 1988. In 2013, he was part of the team awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting. Markoff is also the author of several notable books, including Machines of Loving Grace: The Quest for Common Ground Between Humans and Robots (2015), What the Dormouse Said: How the Sixties Counterculture Shaped the Personal Computer Industry (2006), and Cyberpunk: Outlaws and Hackers on the Computer Frontier (1995).
