The “Awesome Foundation” – which funds quirky art projects for $1,000 with no questions asked (like Sonic Kung Fu Battles and Digital Balloon Dance Parties) – is hosting their first “SF Awesome Salon” on March 20, 2013.
Details for the event are sketchy, but expect to hang out with potential applicants for grants, project people and those interested in the organization at Azucar (9th and Folsom) at 7pm to hang out, drink beer, eat and chat projects.
We have no idea if the food & drinks are complimentary, but the organization is cool enough that we think it’s worth checking out if you want to learn more about what strange art projects are coming next in the “awesome” pipeline.
