Join the environmentalists at Green Zebra for a free workshop on the basics of starting and maintaining your own worm bin or outdoor compost heap.

Free lunch offered to first 20 people to RSVP.

Backyard Compost Workshop:
Green Zebra Environmental Action Center in Crocker Galleria’s Suite #9 (ground floor across from Tully’s Coffee).

Whether you have a spacious backyard, a small deck or just a little space in the kitchen, Suzi Palladino of Garden for the Environment will show you how to make your own compost at home to enrich indoor plants or an entire garden without using industrial fertilizers.

Free lunch offer: The first 20 to RSVP will enjoy a complimentary healthy lunch courtesy of Crocker Galleria.

This Power Hour will take place on the second week of Crocker Galleria’s summer season Tuesday Farmers’ Market (the Thursday Market is year-round).
