Backyard Dreams Opening Reception

Backyard Dreams, a solo show by Petaluma-based painter Samantha Barnes, will be on view at Cura Contemporary from March 1st – April 27th, 2025. Samantha Buller’s artwork is light filled, striking, and experimental. She utilizes imaginative color layering and lively brushwork to invite a fresh take on familiar, commonplace objects.

Samantha received her BFA in painting from the Academy of Art University San Francisco and now paints full time in her home studio in Northern California. Her work has been shown in the Hall of Justice downtown San Francisco, in businesses and several galleries, as well as on the set of a prime time television show.
