Brava! for Women in the Arts’ annual dance and music festival, Baile en la Calle: The Mural Dances, takes over the streets and alleys of San Francisco’s Mission District to celebrate and preserve its living cultural heritage. This year’s event will feature some the Bay Area’s most dynamic dance companies and performing artists as they interpret Brava’s recently unveiled “Brava Breaths Palabra” mural by Agana.
The event will be followed by an outdoor dance party with DJ Agana on the turntables. This is a free community event and all are welcome to join. Masks are required to be worn at all times, and social distancing will be enforced.
