“Bandaloop” Grand Opening w/ Free “Flight Test” & Aerial Dances (West Oakland)

WE DID IT!! Our most challenging feat ever in our 30+ year history (yes, more so than dancing on a 300 year old cathedral!) We secured a long term lease in the heart of the gentrifying neighborhood of West Oakland, California, and are putting finishing touches on a newly expanded, 8,000 sq ft dance space opening next month. We are doubling down on our investment in the local dance and artist community by expanding our education programs and increasing access to our free public art engagements. TOGETHER we can save the arts

And we’re super excited to announce our Grand Opening Event on Sunday, Nov 12 and invite all of YOU to come and check out the all-new BANDALOOP Studios!!! Enjoy a flight test, take a dance class, and view performances by the company… ALL FOR FREE

The new and improved BANDALOOP Studios are made possible by the BANDALOOP Anchor Fund, a capital campaign to sustain dance space and programming in Oakland; there will be opportunities throughout the event to support the campaign in ways large and small.
