Bark (and Meow) Around the Block – Pet Adoption & Street Fair | Saturday, August 23, 10 AM – 4 PM | 2700 Ninth Street, Berkeley
Join Berkeley Humane and 25+ local shelters and rescue groups for California’s largest same-day pet adopt-a-thon! Meet over 200 adoptable pets — puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, even rabbits and birds — all vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home the same day.
Enjoy live music, local food trucks, sweet treats, a beer/wine/vodka garden, pet-loving vendors, games, and giveaways. Adoption fees waived by Berkeley Humane; many partners offering reduced or no-cost adoptions.
