This Saturday, July 12th from 5PM-8PM we are hosting our annual “fête nationale française”, more commonly known here in the US as Bastille Day. We are celebrating with a Grand Tasting with four of our favorite independent French wine importers, including Nadia Dmytriw of Floraison Selections, Grégoire Montot of G Montot Wines, Paul Duroussay of Pierreclos Imports, and Ted & Kristen Talley of Terra Firma Wine Company. They will be showcasing a curated selection of sixteen (four per importer) delicious and affordable wines made by real people and not corporations. Wine by the people, for the people!
There are a few ways to participate in our Bastille Day Grand Tasting. You can buy a pre-sale ticket for the Grand Tasting for $40, which will get you a wristband to sample all sixteen wines. These tickets will be $50 on the day of so take advantage of that $10 discount while you can as pre-sale tickets are limited. Same-day Grand Tasting wristbands are $50, but you can also choose to buy one flight of four wines from one importer of your choice for $20. All bottles poured at the event will be available to-go at a 20% discount!
Pony Express will be popping up to keep you fed during our tasting. Sean and Andrea will be dreaming up a delicious menu featuring Chicken Jardiniere, Basque sausage sandwiches, goat cheese salad, and cherry clafoutis. Food is not included in the price of the ticket but will be available for purchase a la carte. See below for our full lineup for the Grand Tasting.
