The Bay Area Carnivorous Plant Society (BACPS) is excited to announce its annual carnivorous plant show and sale, which will take place on June 3, 2023, from 12pm to 5pm, at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School, 1011 Chestnut St, Alameda, CA 94501. This unique event is free and open to the public and is perfect for plant enthusiasts, families, children, and anyone interested in exploring the world of carnivorous plants.
The BACPS plant show will feature a diverse display of rare and exotic carnivorous plants from all over the world. In addition to the plant display, two dozen carnivorous plant vendors, ranging from the oldest and largest carnivorous plant nurseries in the USA to local Bay Area-based hobbyists, will be present at the event, offering a wide selection of carnivorous plants for purchase. The event’s vendors and participants are some of the most knowledgeable in the country and can provide a wealth of care information and general education.
Vendors include: Alex Arista, Bryce’s Bog and Garden, California Carnivores, Carnivero, Carnivorous Carnivores, Crayton Bowman, Don Elkins, DPs CPs, Henry Moore, Jason Feinberg, Jeff Greene’s Carnivorous Plants, Kat’s Ping Party, Las Selvas, Lukas Mondoux, Magpie and Thorn, My Pingtopia,Phil Faulisi, Predatory Plants, Rainbow Carnivorous Plants, Savage Gardeners, Stephen Davis, Steve Sykes, Terry and Margaret Boomer, The Sun Dewd, Tom Kahl, Turlock Carnivores, and Yuyi Grows.
The BACPS Annual Show & Sale will also include music and food, making it the perfect outing for families and people of all ages.
