The Bay Area’s largest Holi Festival is making its comeback to City Center Bishop Ranch for a free, vivid celebration, including the traditional tossing of colors, live music and an array of family-friendly activities, when it returns April 8.
Holi, an ancient Hindu festival signifying the arrival of spring, is a colorful celebration centered around dousing vibrant powdered pigments while donning light-colored clothing to welcome the season in a radiant expression of togetherness.
Taking place in a new and larger location to accommodate the more than 2,000 expected attendees, the festival is being held at Alexander Square, the central hub of City Center. The throwing of colors begins at 6 p.m. and each guest will receive complimentary colorful powders to participate in the celebration.
