August 2013 marks the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and organized by Bayard Rustin, prominent strategist in the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
Join the Bayard Rustin LGBT Coalition for a civil rights rally at the steps of San Francisco City Hall in commemoration of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The event also honors civil rights leader Bayard Rustin, a gay man who was a prominent strategist of this historic event.
