Beer Koozie Art Show: Noise Pop | Lower Haight

Did you say beer koozies? You mean that item often found at the bottom of wedding reception schwag bags? Hell. Yes.

On February 10th, WorkshopSF and Noise Pop proudly present The Beer Koozie Art Show where we recast this staple accessory of the concert tailgating scene as a canvas for artists and DIY’ers. This show will feature 20 new works using ink, stencil, screen printing, staple foil, thread, sharpies, and more applied directly to the good ol’ foam and fabric of beer koozies. WorkshopSF will also offer a koozie-making station so attendees can make koozies on the spot.

Performances by TBD at 8pm, and DJ Rick Moranis will will spin her master selection of Xanadu rock and Metal-to-tease-your-hair-to throughout the night..

Noise Pop and Upper Playground have partnered up to open a month-long Pop Up Shop in the art space Fifty24SF.

By day it will serve as a merchandise store, art gallery, and information center where you can buy tickets and browse the art of Louder Than Bombs, an exhibit by PEZ; by night it will become a theatre and performance space. Each night will see a different partner co-presenting an event, bringing new audiences and new experiences.
