The Beer Mile is a social event that’s as much fun to do as it is to watch. Participants drink a full-sized beer, run a quarter mile, then repeat the process three times. Watch this ESPN clip for a taste of the fun.
Watch as teams from USA, Canada and Australia square off for world beer mile domination. 5 of the top 6 ever including 3 current and former World Record Holders square off.
You can also try to finish a beer mile yourself (4 beers in 4 laps – a combination of the toughest/funnest mile ever). Public “fun” beer miles start around 2 pm, and the world classic champs will be go off between 5:30-6:30 pm.
