Want to see the artists of SF Ballet up close and in action? Go behind the scenes with SF Ballet, the oldest professional ballet company in America.
Join in for a free, family-friendly event with interactive ballet pop-up booths, photo ops, three food trucks, and a chance to watch the SF Ballet Company take ballet class onstage.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase from three Food Trucks (El Sur Empanadas, Curveball Sliders, & Ruru Juice Smoothies & more) between 10 am–2 pm.
How does the Behind-the-scenes class work?
Observe the dancers of SF Ballet in action in a Company class, led by one of the Company’s Ballet Masters, on stage at the War Memorial Opera House. Guests will enjoy open seating in the Opera House auditorium.
Doors will open at 11:45 am. No photography or recording is allowed during the Company Class Viewing.
