The Bernal Hill Players bring a Latin flavor to the Presidio, championing local composers with the perfect mix of adventurous and accessible programming. This bold trio uses chamber music to celebrate local community and create cross-cultural musical connections.Their diverse repertoire includes European classics, Latin American favorites, and newly commissioned works. Since forming in 2008, the Bernal Hill Players have performed throughout the Bay Area and Mexico City. The group commissioned several Bay Area composers for “San Francisco: In and About the City,” a project highlighting the neighborhoods of the city. Their next major project involves commissioning pieces about neighborhoods of Mexico City by Mexican composers.
