Come to the Special All Day Tribute Film Screening for the Late Film Director Bernardo Bertolucci (1941 – 2018) at the Alameda Free Library. Must be 18 or older to attend.

Potluck-style snacks and soft drinks. Please bring something to contribute — even if you just stay to watch
part of the movie.

We are watching the Director’s Cut of Bertolucci’s epic movie “1900” (originally released in 1976). Running Time is: 5 hours and 15 minutes.

The schedule for the day:

  • 10 am-12 pm – *Brief Introduction by filmmaker Jeff M. Giordano and start the movie
  • 12 pm-12:30 pm – 30 minute break
  • 12:30 pm-2:30 pm – Resume watching “1900”
  • 2:30 pm-3 pm – 30 minute break.
  • 3 pm-4:15 pm – Finish watching “1900”
  • 4:15 pm-4:45 pm – Post-Discussion led by Jeff M. Giordano
