Event Details

Ahhhh… the lovely image of a pinup riding a bicycle! Skirts tend to fly as the pedals spin faster, an experience some of us are all too familiar with.

Come to this launch party of  Thought You Knew”s brand new pinup calendar of cyclists held at Photobooth in the Photographer Kim Capriotti and illustrator Jana Kinsman have taken real female cyclists and transformed them into pinup fantasies.

19th Century Photo Party:
There’s DJs and “free” drinks (a sip to be had for a tip in the jar), but best of all you’ll get to see the TinType in action… an 1850’s era photographing technology that immortalizes an image directly on metal – just like how they did it before Kodak & Eastman ruled the photo scene.

Although the TinTypes cost $50, it’s an event in itself just to watch the process which they’ll be doing right in front of your eyes. This should get your flex capacitor pumping for a trip back 150 years.
