“Big and Little” Picture Book Party: DIY Crafts, Art & Drinks | The Midway

Join author and artist R.S Whipple for an afternoon celebration to officially release her debut picture book, When I Was Big and You Were Little, into the wild.

In the spirit of the book this is an event for everyone, Big and Little.

• Kids: Bring along your favorite stuffed animal and we will help you make them their very own bedtime pillow – author recommended for extra snuggly bedtimes. There will be a book reading at 2 pm, so be sure to come early.
• Adults: R.S Whipple will be signing books and exhibiting original illustrations alongside a book-themed painting installation. There will also be a bar, snacks and places to lounge and chat. And, get some of your holiday shopping out of the way, with books and limited edition prints available for sale.

So, bring your kids, invite some friends, and help me give thanks for the completion of this magical book.
