About Us:
Big Brain is a speaker series in San Francisco where academics and passionate people give lectures in the coolest bars and cafes in the city!
Event Description:
Millions struggle with mental health challenges, yet many treatments fall short. What if the key to healing lies in a place we least expect—anesthesia-induced dreams?
Join Dr. Pilleriin Sikka, a researcher from Stanford University and the University of Skövde, as she explains a new approach to mental health. Dr. Sikka explores how transformative dream states, triggered by anesthesia, have the potential to dramatically reduce PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Early research is showing promise, and this could be the future of mental health care.
Join us @ the Sycamore on May 13th at 7 pm!
