SF Urban Film Fest: “In the Wake of Ghost Ship & No Vacancy” | SF
The SF Urban Film Fest (SFUFF) is a unique film festival that focuses on cities and civic engagement inspired by great storytelling. The festival believes compelling stories can help shape urbanist ideas, practice, and project implementation.
SFUFF is organized by urban planners and screens films in tandem with panels and workshops.

- Monday, November 13th – Urban Mobility and Empowerment
12:30 pm – Google Community Space
How does design empower city dwellers to switch between different mobility solutions from walking, riding transit, driving a car, or riding a bike. Why is it important? Film screening followed by panel discussion.
- Thursday, November 16th – Canary in the Coal Mine: Artists in the City
12:30 pm – SPUR
- Friday, November 17th – “Arc of Justice” and James Baldwin’s “Take This Hammer”: Connecting Civil Rights to Place

- 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Panel Discussion and Audience Q & A
Artists play a central role in defining the values, vibrancy, and evolution of a city but how does the city respond to the needs of artists? Films screening followed by panel discussion and audience Q & A.
