Event Details

Join City Slicker Farms in a hometown celebration of The Essential Urban Farmer, from Oakland’s very own urban farming experts, Novella Carpenter and Willow Rosenthal.

Come ask the authors your most pressing farming questions; hear from members of the leading Bay Area agricultural organizations; mingle with fellow Bay Area farmers (and friends of farmers); and eat, drink, and be merry – Oakland-style.

This event is free with an RSVP by emailing anna@cityslickerfarms.org with the subject line: “RSVP – The Essential Urban Farmer”. All proceeds from book and food sales will go to support City Slicker Farms and its food justice efforts in West Oakland.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
