$5 Bottle-Your-Own-Wine Event | La Honda Winery

You know how the French are big winos? In my birthplace of the South of France, we’d take six packs of empty wine bottles into town to fill them up from huge tanks, paying by the liter—just like filling up your car.

Here’s your chance to feel a little French yourself: La Honda Winery just South of the City will allow you to fill up clean, washed empty bottles you’d otherwise throw in the recycling bin for five bucks.

In their “Bottle Your Own Wine” event, La Honda Winery fills up your bottle(s) directly from a tank of Petite Sirah for just $5.00 if you bring your own bottle or $7.00/bottle if you use  one of their green glass bottles. They supply the cork and label too.
