Five years of cheers to Broke Ass Stuart for tipping us off to a Facebook page that’s serving as a hub for a bunch of fun David Bowie tribute events for Friday night being curated by the community.

Here’s the list of events as of 5pm on Friday. We haven’t confirmed any of this, we’re just spreading the word. Please check Facebook for the latest updates.

Friday Night “Bowie by the Bay” Dance Crawl & Mobile Wake Schedule

• 8pm (tentative) > LAKE MERRITT (OAKLAND) Outdoor Bowie Dance Party —  Dancers, volunteers and sound magicians needed!! Let’s make it happen!!!
• 3:00 – 7:00 > RITE SPOT (SF) Bowie music, specialty cocktail, robot mud wrestling ALL AGES NO COVER The Rite Spot
• 4:00/9:30/10:15 > NEW PARKWAY (OAKLAND) Theater showing of Labryinth – $8
• 5:00 – 8:45 > HARLOT LOUNGE (SF) 3 DJs, Bowie face painting, light show! NO COVER – Donation will be made to Bowie-related charity TBD.
• 5:00 – 8:00 > HEART & DAGGER (OAKLAND) Bowie music, themed-drinks – NO COVER 
• 5:00 – 10:00 > SPITFIRE LOUNGE (SAN RAFAEL) Bowie music, drinks, new friends NO COVER Spitfire Lounge
• 6:00 – 10:00 > MAKEOUT ROOM (SF) DJ, Bowie face painting, wooden spoons
• 9:00 – 2:00 > CLIFT HOTEL (SF) DJ dance set with Bowie theme – NO COVER
• 10:00 – 2:00 > BERGAMOT ALLEY (HEALDSBURG) DJs + Dancing, wine, vinyl, happiness NO COVER 
• ALL DAY > EHS PILATES (SF) Candle ceremony at each group class and all day Bowie!
• 3:30/8:45 > RIALTO THEATER (SEBASTOPOL) Movie – The Man Who Fell to Earth
• TIME TBD > Bring Your Own Instrument Bowie Noise Jam and Karaoke (SF)
