Come visit The Box Shop for our December Open Studios!

The Box Shop is a collaborative maskerspace and studios focused on metal and industrial arts. During Open Studios, we open up for the public to get to know the space, the art, and the artists that make up The Box Shop community!

*Meet the artists!*
Metalworkers, stone carvers, seamstresses, painters, woodworkers, sculptors, bicycle engineers, and electronic car producers are among the artists who call The Box Shop home. Take this opportunity to talk to some of The Box Shop artists about their art and their process!

*Explore where colossal art is born!*
Monumental art pieces are created at The Box Shop. Some become public art installed locally and around the U.S. – such as Entwined Meadow (currently installed in Golden Gate Park). The Box Shop is also a hub of the Burning Man arts community. Dozens of Burning Man sculptures and art cars were created at The Box Shop. See for yourself the space, the machinery, and the tools that make this art possible!

*Check out 130+ murals!*
The Box Shop has commissioned local artists to paint over 130 murals throughout the exterior and inner yards. This is one of the largest open-air mural art exhibits in the Bay Area!

*Enjoy the sculpture garden!*
Our succulent garden is home to gorgeous plants both natural and manmade!
