UC Berkeley – Sproul Plaza | Bancroft Way and and Barrow Ln, Berkeley, CA

Event Details

Tyson Foods and other companies used by UC Berkeley’s dining halls have been exposed for cruelty against animals as well as environmental destruction and worker abuse. We will be gathering in Sproul Plaza from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on February 10th to nonviolently ask Chancellor Christ and Cal Dining to “break up with factory farms.” We will have a display of large broken hearts and valentines to deliver to the chancellor. If you’d like to join us in preparing protest materials, join our meetup at the Animal Rights Center at 6 pm on Monday February 6th.
Protest signs will be provided. There is great power in numbers, so we hope to see you there.
WHEN: 2/10, 12-2 pm
WHERE: Sproul Plaza (in front of Sproul Hall)
WHY: To defend animals, the planet, and exploited workers
