Thursday, July 20, 2023, marks the 50th anniversary of the sudden passing of legendary actor and martial artist Bruce Lee. It also marks the beginning of a decades-long legacy as a cultural icon, Chinese American hero, and international influencer.
CHSA is honoring 50 years of his legacy with a very special Bruce Lee Day: free admission to the museum, gift shop—and our landmark exhibit, We Are Bruce Lee: Under the Sky, One Family. Experience the iconic interactive multimedia mural and Bruce Lee: Underground, an exhibition of artwork by artists of color inspired by the life of Bruce Lee.
In addition, visitors will be able to check out the new Bruce Lee mural on Joice Street alley in the place of his birth—San Francisco Chinatown—to celebrate the premiere of season 3 of WARRIOR, inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee. Plus access to our We Are Bruce Lee-branded apparel, souvenirs and other merchandise.
