Event Details

Our art-making activity is inspired by Do Ho Suh’s journey. His art* is a visual expression of the feelings he experienced upon leaving his home in Korea and making new homes in different places around the world. Join us as we learn to build a birdhouse from everyday objects and express feelings about home and our connections to a place. During the artmaking process we will think about moving from home to a new place – much like migratory birds.

*He is an artist in the Cantor’s new exhibition “When Home Won’t Let You Stay”
