Event Details

One of the core principals of Burning Man is “Radical Self Expression.” If you haven’t been to Burning Man before, you may have heard that the playa is a space to wear whatever matches how you feel or how you really want to express yourself, whether that be zebra pants, cowboy garb, fuzzy bikinis, your birthday suit, whatever feels right… in extreme heat and extreme cold.

So get together and brush up your fuzzy boots, tie together capes, and make your jackets glow. This two-day event takes place on August 4 and 5, 2012 from 1pm till 5pm.

Radical Self Expression Day Checklist

1. Collect your raw materials: you may want to find fabrics, swing by thrift stores, pick up some needles/thread/velcro/string/sequins/fur/whatever you’re into (no feathers please)

2. Order your El Wire ASAP if you’d like to sew it into your jackets

If you have a sewing machine you can bring for the efforts. If you have any questions, holler at jordan@practicegood.org
