Event Details

Learn the essential steps to legally start a business, from choosing a business structure to obtaining the necessary licenses and registrations. This workshop will explore different business entities—Sole Proprietorship, General Partnership, LLC and S-Corp—to help you determine the best fit for your needs. The workshop will also cover essential licenses, permits, registrations and fictitious business name filings, with a special focus on Bay Area-specific requirements.

Offered in partnership with SCORE San Francisco. Mitchell Grunat is a seasoned executive with experience in consumer goods, food service, retail and medical industries. He has expertise in multi-unit national retail operations, marketing, lease negotiation, contract manufacturing and franchising. A SCORE mentor for nearly a decade, Grunat has helped aspiring entrepreneurs launch their businesses and assisted existing business owners in overcoming challenges and achieving growth.
