A fundraising reception marking the closing of the Beau McCall: Buttons On! exhibition at the Museum of Craft and Design. The exhibition celebrates McCall’s joyfully unconventional creations — hand-sewn buttons on upcycled fabrics, materials, and objects. On display are nearly 40 years of McCall’s wearable and visual art, including bold new works and rarely seen archival pieces. Meet McCall and exhibition curator Souleo.
Reception in the museum gallery benefitting DIFFA and UCSF’s Ward 86 HIV/AIDS clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
