Sit back and let your local State Parks come to you! Join State Parks Interpreter Alex Trudelle as he highlights some of the favorite spots and recreational opportunities on offer at your local parks. He will also give you some tried-and-true tips and ideas for some close-to-home adventures this summer.

Presenter Bio: Interpreter Alex Trudelle has worked for California State Parks in Santa Cruz and San Mateo Counties for nearly 10 years. Alex lived in Boulder Creek as a kid and essentially grew up on the trails of Big Basin, Castle Rock, Point Reyes, and Big Sur, to name a few, and now makes a living by helping to protect and share these magical outdoor spaces with the public. Currently the lead interpreter and docent coordinator at Castle Rock and Portola Redwoods State Parks, Alex is also the lead guide for California State Parks Backpacking Adventures (CASPBA) based in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
