The Final “Castro Night Market” of 2024: Festive Winter Edition (SF)

The Castro Night Market, a vibrant celebration of local culture, food, and community, begins in the iconic Castro district returns on Friday, December 20th, from 5 PM to 10 PM. Taking place along 18th Street between Hartford & Collingwood, the event promises an unforgettable evening filled with live entertainment, unique shopping experiences, and culinary delights.

Sexy Snow Folx Dance Contest
Let your inner snowflake shine at our Sexy Snow Folx Dance Contest, hosted by the iconic Sister Roma! The contest begins at 8 PM on the Snowflake Stage on 18th Street near Hartford,, with music provided by DJ Spenser Morris. Each dancer will have one minute to wow the crowd with their moves. Instead of tipping, the audience is invited to scan a QR code to donate directly to the LYRIC Center for LGBTQQ+ Youth. Sign up in advance or on-site for your chance to compete and help raise funds for this vital organization. A representative from LYRIC will also join us on stage to share their mission.

FaLaLaLa Fabulous
Light up the night and sparkle under the winter sky! Attendees are encouraged to don their most dazzling light-up accessories, sequins, and festive attire to illuminate the market with joy and style.  Light-up accessories will be for sale onsite at the FaLaLaLa Store located at the Information booth, while supplies last.

The Neon Garden Main Stage
Get ready to groove with sets by DJs Juanchii and Nick Moss, along with beverages provided by Lookout to keep you fueled for the fun. Don’t miss this pulsating heart of the evening!

Drag and Comedy & Other Performances
Experience the wit and charisma of some of San Francisco’s best drag, and comedy, and singing talent, bringing laughs and fierce energy to the stage, hosted by Sister Roma of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

Delicious Food and Retail Vendors
Explore a curated selection of food and beverage options, including warm drinks & confections for cold wintery nights, and many unique retail vendors offering perfect last-minute holiday gifts.

The Night Market will feature an exciting lineup of local vendors and artists showcasing their goods, from handcrafted products to one-of-a-kind art pieces. Attendees can also indulge in a variety of delicious food offerings from beloved local food trucks and pop-ups, making this a can’t-miss experience for foodies and art lovers alike.
