Castro Valley “Marketplace Mixer” (2025)

The Marketplace’s much-loved Mixers are back!

Join us this Thursday, May 15th for the latest iteration of the event. It’s set to be a fun one.

Our friends at Smalltown Society have put together a terrific lineup of art and music for you to enjoy.

There’s an interactive art exhibit based on their debut zine, “It’s the End of the World as We Know It, Are We Ready for the Next One?” which features small scale art created by members of the community. You also get a chance to create your own miniature masterpieces.

Live music by Oakland’s Coryphantha will set the sonic vibes and make the whole marketplace rocking.

Over at Castro Valley Natural Grocery you can try samples from Moya Spice, the local artisan who creates two fantastic Mexican spice blends. They are also hosting Hey Hunger Indian-Inspired Tikka Patties, Lottie’s Meats pork provisions, and Laurel’s Coffee A2 Dairy Lattes.
